Our Philosophy: Body, Mind & Spirit

Recovery isn’t just about stopping harmful behaviors—it’s about becoming whole again. We integrate the principles of 12-step recovery with a full-body wellness model that nurtures every dimension of the human experience:

  • Body: Physical health is foundational. We incorporate personal training and nutrition coaching to help clients regain energy, strength, and confidence.

  • Mind: We help clients build mental resilience, emotional awareness, and coping strategies that support long-term sobriety and personal growth.

  • Spirit: Grounding practices like meditation and spiritual exploration help reconnect clients with purpose, inner peace, and a Higher Power.

This integrative approach creates real change that lasts.

Creative Healing Through Art Therapy

Founder Glenn West brings over 11½ years of experience facilitating art therapy groups for individuals with substance use and mental health disorders. Art therapy is seamlessly woven into the recovery process to help clients:

  • Access and process difficult emotions

  • Explore identity and self-expression

  • Build self-esteem and emotional regulation

  • Experience healing beyond words

Art becomes a safe and transformative outlet, helping clients reconnect with their inner selves in an honest, meaningful way.

Family Coaching & Codependency Recovery

Addiction affects everyone—not just the individual. At Guided Journey, we work closely with families to identify enabling behaviors, heal patterns of codependency, and foster open, supportive relationships. Our coaching helps families:

  • Set healthy boundaries

  • Learn how to truly support without enabling

  • Rebuild trust and connection

  • Contribute to long-term recovery success

When families grow alongside their loved one, the chances of sustainable recovery are far greater.\
